Old Lyme Draw Stuck? (Connecticut River)

I got underway early this morning hoping to sail to New London, but when I got to the Old Lyme Amtrak Drawbridge, a police boat came alongside and the officers told me that the bridge was stuck in the down position and might be that way for a week!

I've been trying to find out if that time estimate is accurate, but I haven't been able to find any additional info. Did anyone else try to get through later in the day?

Went up the river to Deep River 2 weeks ago and thought
occurred to me what if the bridge got stuck?
Sure it would get fixed real fast if was stuck in the open position.
Good luck to you Ct. River sailors for fast resolution.
