More than one keeper is generally over the bag limit. Although, I'm on my second, admittedly.

I think the odds of snagging a decent looking female crew increase exponentially with the size of your... boat, of course!

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.

Searching for a girl here, is rather fruitless. Finding one here, is a different story. That can happen here, just as it happens elsewhere.

searching makes you appear desperate.... neither man nor woman enjoys a desperate soul.. they are clingy and unpleasant.
\
try no longer looking as that usually seems to work best..
pretend you have someone so you look and seem to be acceptable, then just be you.
lol is difficult for some to be self..lol but if you are not self, who are you and how will you be able to carry on a relationship.......

Have to respect that the OP did pony up photos when Zee called folks out to do it. But pix of my Perkins 4-108 for serious inquiries only.

I don't know how often these forums lead to romance, but the "bow bunny wanted" ads by old guys with beer guts are always a good laugh. I may find a cute guy to double as a windlass yet, you never know.

One night, maybe a year ago, I drank too much wine and made a LoveSail account. I woke up with a hangover and an inbox full of introductions. Not from the hot, floppy-haired guys the site teases you with, but from guys old enough to be my father! In addition to the general challenge that there are 10 liveaboard guys for every single mermaid, most of those guys are a generation too old for me. No one's gonna cry me a river, I know.

I figure I'll drag anchor into the love of my life when I least expect it.

That's the way it happened with me. I stopped looking and BOOM.

On the third date he offered to re-wire my first boat. It didn't catch fire so I kept him. Ten years and counting.

Re: im sure the odds of finding a women to date on here is, 1 ina mill

Well, I didn't meet my current wife (my second, my wife's third husband) on the internet, but as someone stated, you may find the love of your life and a sailor too when you least expect it...My story:

I dated my current wife briefly when she was a senior in high school and I was a 20 year old home on leave after Army basic training (no not the WW2, Viet Nam). We both went to the same high school, I knew of her but hey I was a senior and she was a freshman (or is it freshwoman).

Any how, I was divorced for about nine years and she for several, and we ran into each other in the supermarket, after not seeing each other for over 20 years. I had just bought my first sailboat a year before. Were married a couple of years later, bought another boat soon thereafter; had that one for 13 years. Now the kicker: a couple of years ago she comes to the dinner table with a Latitude 38 mag and says " honey I just found our next boat". What are the odds of that happening? So now two years into the "next boat" here we are. The lesson: keep your eyes and ears open, your mouth shut most of the time, and you never know where and when opportunity will present itself.
