Hi Victoria, I'll be departing Galveston bound for Fla. via the ICW sometime next month. I plan to bounce down the Gulf Coast and hit the usual spots with the Keys, Marathon being the true target with Boot Key Harbor as a month or two layover. While there I'll deal with any issues that become apparent on the trip there. From there I plan to make landfall on Cuba on the NW shore and from there move east to Havana and other places of interest. from Cuba south to Jamaica, then on to the San Blas Islands and then Panama City. Then thru the Canal and west to the Marquesas then on to the South Pacific, Vanuatu as my main focus but many fantastic stops before and after Vanuatu. Palau, Manila, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Maccau, Borneo, Singapore, KL Malaysia, Phuket, Thailand, Myanmar (Burma) this represents just the first two or three years. I am deeply beset by wanderlust, I want to see everything. Sailing is fine but it's just a great way to get to destinations the vast majority of the worlds people will never see. If this sounds like something interesting, lets talk. My boat is a Hood 38' one of the best blue water boats available, she is strong, fast and comfortable and has every amenity I could squeeze in. I personally have installed every system and can service all of them. She has almost unlimited electricity and fresh water available with satellite TV, internet and sat phone. She also has a resident musicologist and therefore great tunes. She has a large refrigerator and a separate large freezer for the fish caught on voyage. All safety equipment is either new or current. And me? You decide, but the boat is good...............
