You forgot that she needs to own her own slip and boat.

Good luck in your search and keep on sailing.

Personnally, I admire Jollycruiser's continued interest in cruising as a self-described "senior skipper".

Re: Want Mature Cook/Crew/Friend Lady

I would recommend Match.com for finding distaff crew. I've had great luck there meeting mature women who like to sail, including my current girlfriend. I even dated a woman with her own sailboat, but it was a catboat, so I had to let her go.

Re: Want Mature Cook/Crew/Friend Lady

I try to make it a rule to respect my elders,,,,especially when they are still cruising at 70 something (my guess) and with 40,000 blue water miles under their belts. I hope he finds someone.

Re: Want Mature Cook/Crew/Friend Lady

I notice none of the sailnet ladies have posted an opinion on this one but most of the male responses have been positive. I wish cruiser well. As a 70 year old skipper I can still climb the ratlines but sometimes could use some help finding clean socks.

I think for a hydraulic wench you would definitely need to go to a dedicated dating site.

Re: Want Mature Cook/Crew/Friend Lady

hydraulic wench---ye mean bionic woman????? or an hydraulic wInch.....

never date any one with an hydraulic wEnch.

the guy is a tad too on the senior side for this senior lady.....and i am far from hydraulic...rodlmao....

spunk and inner youth make for a big plus, but ....

the ad was worded with respect--i dont see anything wrong there...points for spirit
