I bought a 1980 Mac 21 that seems to have a jerryrigged mast/boom pivot (I dont know the correct name). Can someone post a picture of their pivot so I can see what's been done, and does anyone have a pivot for sale? Also, if anyone has any rigging specs for gibb and spiney, please let me know.

for all the info ya need. The goosneck on a 21 is a simple u-bracket with a bolt straight down through it and the goosneck fitting of the boom. It looks fragile but I've had mine out in 35+ and put the mast in the water twice without issues.
email me off board and I'll try to find the addy to a guy in NY that makes a solid gooseneck that fits the track. I have one that didn't work for mine, too. They're VERY inexpensive and solid aluminum.
