While securing some through-deck bolted fittings, I spilled some
epoxy (no filler) on the
anti-slip, finely grooved, part of the deck (my boat has no anti-slipping
paint). Although I scrubbed and brushed vigorously with acetone and took off as much as I could, the area of the spillage has now turned into a yellowish stain. I'm not sure how I can get rid of it other that painting over it with diluted gel coat? This may be difficult to adequately match and still be an eyesore. Any advice for this sloppy "neat freak"?
