From what you describe, it sounds like an Oday, Daysailor. They have a very small little , not really a cabin, but a place that you can store stuff. It's very rounded on the front, and has no windows.

no clue yet. Should know alot more tomorrow. I belive it is alot more modern then the venture it has colored lines and more modern hardwere and a shape that remids me of a really big club 420 kinda of a flater bottom designed to sail at a harder angle. it is also alot thicker in the middle then the v17 but smaller in the back also alot thinner tall. it has a drain for the cockpit in the center of the tail too

i have seen the pictures of those and it seems to have more of a ccabin then that it does have births
