Mold and Mildew

Hello!

Bought a 26M this summer, and looking for suggestions on keeping the insides in good shape during the damp PNW winter. It is under a tarp. I'm not a fan of the crystal method...a mess when I forget to dump the water. Is a small heater a good idea?

I like the hanging "Damp Rid" bags. I don't know if this is the crystal method your speaking of, but there is no mess with these.

Re: Mold and Mildew

Utility light with a 60 watt heavy duty bulb, and it should keep the interior sufficiently warm enough to keep the moisture down.

Probably not the most "eco-friendly" way to do it, but it IS probably the simplest no-fuss way.

We use a plug-in heater in the cabin, keeps things warn and dry and toasty. If you're on shore power, of course... the light bulb would work too I'm sure.

Re: Mold and Mildew

If possible, fit an air scoop to the front hatch...let in some air...of course it will have to go through the tarp...and also do what the other commenters advise...
you have to eliminate that moisture...
