Re: Voyaging tips, Boarding ladders

Hello Capt Wayne. I watched the video you posted on boarding ladders and found some useful info because the boat we own does not have a boarding ladder. Most of my sailing experience up till now has been in the Caribbean (St Kitts, St John's etc) and our capt would remove or lock the ladder at night to make it harder for the thieves to board us. I remember a few times that some of the boats around us were robbed that had ladders and we were left alone, but if one of us were to fall overboard I would like to know we could get back on. What would be your opinion on locking it at night while at anchor?
I did check out your website and loved it, because we have been working on an old girl for a few years now.

Thanks
Lori
