Thousands .. no joke

Unless it is a trailable and you can dispense with the marina.

Here in the carolinas we are in a previously less expensive quiet backwater that is quickly catching up with the rest of the world. $12 to $14 a foot a month for a slip and there is a 35' minimum, power metered and the cost is added. Boatyards are disappearing quickly and the few that remain are more hesitant every day to let owners do any of their own work. Expect to pay $50 to $60 for every warm body that leans on you vessel while it is in the yard no matter their experiance or the quality of their work. There are exceptions/honest yards but they are not cheaper and often more expensive but in those few places you at least get what you pay for. How to tell in advance which are the good yards and good mechanics?....good luck!
