Novice purchasing trailer sailer. Where to launch for free?

Hello all,

I'm probably going to be purchasing a Catalina 22 with trailer. My question is how do I get the boat in the water without paying a ramp fee at some random club? I live in Braintree, MA and am willing to drive pretty much anywhere. Thanks in advance!

I can't speak to the accuracy, but Public launch ramps Massachusetts@ Bostonboating.com has a list of public launches.

Hey - did you find a good ramp for your Catalina 22 in the Boston area? I'm getting a similar size boat and have been asking myself the same question.

Cheers,
Joost
