Aerial Photos of Boats

Does anyone know who the aerial photographers are of boats in and around the Boston Northshore area? The reason that I ask is that there was a plane taking photos of boats on Saturday, Aug 22 around 2:30 PM around Beverly-Gloucester area. White plane/single wing, writing on the wings. Checked with a few photographers in the area, but it wasn't them.

Any leads?

Thanks.

Sorry for the belated reply, but did you try Home Page of BOATPIX.com I have no connection to them, but they did take a picture of my boat a couple of years ago in Gardiners Bay, Long Island from a helicopter.

Yacht-Shots uses an airplane and was in Block Island Sound on August 26.

You can email them at info@yacht-shots.com. Their website is Yacht-Shots.com.

They had taken photos of my boat on speculation and subsequently contacted me to sell photos/DVD. I liked the proofs, which were provided on their website and ended up buying from them.

About 10 years ago, I had a similar experience with BOATPIX and also bought from them.

I don't recall where BOATPIX is from, but Yacht-Shots is out of Flagler Beach, FL. My understanding is that both of these outfits operate primarily on speculation. They will fly in areas where they expect good photographic conditions and circle likely customers as they take a number of photos. They then track you down by checking your hull name and the documentation registry and send you proofs or a link to their website.
