    I get mine from a local alt repair shop. Now days I simply drop them off and have them re-built as it is no longer worth my time to fix them myself unless it's an easy brush set or some easy bearings to replace. I posted that mostly for folks cruising and who need to DIY. I get my parts from a local bearing supplier as they are often cheaper than from the alt parts sources.

    Just had a Balmar re-built for under $100.00 and that included a new pulley, new front case, bearings, brushes, soda blasting the case and a full test on the bench.
