There were serious issues about the Bow plates. ? ??

I'm close to making an offer on an 88 and am now quite concerned about this problem. How many of you have replaced the bow plate.? Is this problem universal to all years of 33 and 35's.? What is the approximate cost to replace ? Where can one obtain a new/ss (?) bow plate ? How much of a risk do we run with just keeping the old one ? Time is of the essence so if any of you can answer any of the above it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much !

Jim

I can't answer your question, but if you are going to have the boat surveyed you might get an answer from him as a courtesy before you make an offer, if your surveyor knows Mirage.
