Mirage 24 plans

Hello,

Trying to find some very hard to locate information. Maybe someone will be able to point in the right direction.

I'd like to build myself a model replica of a Mirage 24. For this, I'd like to have some better detailed plans than what is available on SailQuest. (cannot post the link, too new here )

Now, of course, I do know that Mirage Yachts has been closed since 1989. Couldn't even find to whom Dick Steffen sold the business in 89...

Anyone might have ideas or leads?

Re: Mirage 24 plans

It's always difficult to get accurate lines drawings of commercially produced boats.. there is a company in New England that makes them.. clearly they have the lines but likely paid a pretty price for them.

The Mirage 24 is a C&C design, if I'm not mistaken.. perhaps a venture down that road might turn something up....

Already sent an email to C&C but not really hoping to get a positive reply.

Do you have the name of the company in New England?

The name escapes me at the moment, but I had such terrible service and treatment from them (after they had my money) that I'd never recommend them to anyone.

I'm doubting they'd share in any event.

Google 'half hull models' and you'll find several vendors.
