If you click on the Community tab at the top of your screen today, you will find that a hot new feature has been added: Message Boards. These new Message Boards replace the old SailNet Forums, which served their purpose well for many years but could not be integrated into the many new features added recently at SailNet.

You do not have to be a SailNet member to use the Message Boards. You can follow the threads of the conversations and even search for topics that interest you. But membership is free and has so many privileges that it only makes sense to sign in and join the group by posting your own messages on the boards and creating your own threads.

The new Message Boards are totally integrated with the other Members' Center features. You can send e-mail to other members on the E-Mail Lists, contact other members with instant messages, switch to the Chat Center without losing the thread in the Message Boards, edit your profile on the Personal Pages, and look at the profiles of the people sending messages to you. It’s a great way to find sailors all over the world with interests or boats similar to yours—and it’s all free.

If you haven’t yet visited the new features of the SailNet Members' Center, click on the Community tab and start making new friends. It’s that easy.
