Leaking Hatch

I'm renovating my Morgan 321. She is an 82, and one of the problems I need to fix is the leaking forward hatch. The repair ''should be" simple. All that is needed is a new gasket. Unfortunately, the gasket was missing when I bought the boat and I haven't a clue what it looks like let alone what size, shape, material type, etc. it should be.

Any information, even an end view photo from an old one, will be appreciatde.

If it's like the forward hatch on my Morgan 30, there never was any gasket. My hatch was designed with a turned down edge that covered the molded-in raised hatch frame, but left a gap for "ventilation".
