Smile 41OI Mast Base

I have pulled the mast from my 1980 Morgan OI ketch to facilitate Awlgrip of hull and rewirings and rigging inspections of mast. I would like to create or purchase a new mast base because mine is mostly a pile of corrosion sand and broken pieces of alulminium. Any advice appreciated.

Recommend you post your question to the email list

I recommend you sign up for the Morgan-specific email list (here on the Sailnet site) and post your question there. It will immediately be sent to all list members. I have subscribed to that list for a few years and have learned much from its participants. The subject of mast steps has come up before.
