windless

I would like to install a windless on my 33' Morgan OI. I have been told that there is not enough room om my fore deck or in my chain locker. I find this a little hard to beleive. Dose anyone have any info or thoughts on this or on the type ov windless that would be best for this boat ( vertical or horazontal )?
