Replacement top bearing bush assembly for a morgan 415 1978

Hi group,

I am the new owner of SV Caramba and new to this forum.

I am facing a problem with the particular part and I would appreciate your help to the matter...

I live in Cyprus and in the meditterenian there are no many Morgans and so not much help can be found...

I replaced my cutlas bearing last week. My shaft diameter was 1 1/4 inch with and bearing diameter of 2 inches. Bearing extended about an inch outside the casing and with a pipe wrench I was able to remove the bearing and then resealed the bearing.

What work do you need help with?

I will need to replace the bush inside and I dont know where to find one to buy. Also I need to know how to do this. Should I bring the whole wire down and if so how do I do it?

As you can see I dont know much about these things and your help will be much appreciated.

Where do you guys buy replacement parts for your morgans?
