Earliest surviving M34 hull #?

I have what I think is hull #8. I located a glassed in 008 in the aft lazerette, port side. What year is this boat?

I picked it up at an auction for...$800.00. Yep, you read that right. It's in ~ok~ shape...its last registration was 1982 and fortunately it was stored in a barn. The previous owner began an engine refit to a Kubota diesel...I'll need to sort that out first off. Then its on to electrical, etc, etc, and so on...I'm sure you know the drill.

Hey all...I emailed Charlie Morgan about the age of my boat, and it's as I suspected...a '65 or early '66. I think that its pretty cool that I got an email back from the guy that designed and built my boat 41 years ago.
