This week marks the end of our 1st year owning our Morgan 30/2. We are still trying to fine tune the rig. These boats are different than most with forward lowers that are 3 or 4ft further forward than most and the aft lowers aren't really aft but right next to the uppers. We would love to hear suggestions from other owners of a 30/2. For a 30ft boat these rigs are huge! Thanks, Eric

Re: What's your Morgan?

My boat was designed by Charlie Morgan but was made by Columbia..it's a 1966 Columbia 40 c/b. I am having issue with the rudder...havent sailed her yet...she is cleaning up well so far...but need to haul out to address rudder issue and needs bottom job anyways...I wonder when next Morgan invasion will be...will check online and see...

Re: What's your Morgan?

Jay
mines got one but it is up near the bow locker and is scrawled by hand I will take a picture tomorrow and upload so you can see the general appearance because it is more like graffiti than what hull numbers look like these days! Knowing what I do about the 24/25 Id love a 28....bet that means roomy and fast....

Hey! Check that date! They didn't make any Morgan OI's before the seventies. I have a '73 and your photo shows a boat closer to '79.
