Comments on a 1985 38 CC Endeavour for cruising bluewater?

Not a great idea in a coastal cruiser.

I currently live on the exact boat on Lake Texoma. I have been for 4 years and love it. I cannot comment personally on its bluewater capabilty, but it has easily shrugged off the worst that this large lake can dish out. From reading before purchasing and after the fact, it seems that this boat would be a capable cruiser. I hope this is the case because that is my ultimate plan. The ENDEAVOUR's were made for the charter crowd throughout the Carribean in the 80's and are very capable boats.
I have the E40 and have no problem in bluewater.... VERY comfortable, very "dry" center cockpit, 25,000 lbs...

I have NO regrets buying this boat and have had no issues with it!

We actually chartered several MORGAN OI 41's in the Carribean, and they are a good boat, but when I started shopping I preferred the ENDEAVOUR for a number of reasons.
