Considering a 43 Center Cockpit

It's time to go bigger and I'm planning to look at a 1985 43 Center Cockpit. I'd love to hear comments on this boat/model/year. The "good" feedback would be appreciated but I'd really like to hear all the negatives inherent in this boat. Are there some things I should look out for or have a surveyer spend extra time checking out? Are there some things which are known problems (every boat has a few!) which I should see whether the previous owner had resolved?

For what it's worth, we sail on the Long Island Sound. Mostly weekends but a 10-day trip out East each year if you know the area.

Feel free to email me directly at windsock1@pipeline.com

Thanks,

Steve Weinstein

Steve -- Am I missing the manufacturer and model of this 43 footer? Some specifics might help get some comments.

Good point -- my bad for not checking the category. Now, next question is where do all the Morgan folks hang out?
