Morgan 60

We just lost a boat to fire in January. She was new and the insurance will pay 100% of the covered amount. We now are looking at the used boat market and have come across several boats that interest us and fulfill our mission profile. A Tayana 55, Pearson 53 and a Morgan 60.

the first two boats I know well and have great respect for. however, I know almost nothing about the Morgan 60. Her lines are beautiful. She is a schooner rig and that also fits the mission profile (mast height under 70 ft ft).

I was wondering if anyone on this list has any knowledge of the Morgan 60 and would be willing to share that information.

Thanks in advance,
Dennis

Dennis...I don't know the Morgan either but am curious about the 70' mast height. Most look for 65' for the ICW route... may I ask why 70'?
Btw...welcome and good luck!

Camaraderie,

I have a bridge to get under that is supposed to be 75 ft in order to get to my club. I rarely do the ICW so that is not a big deal to me. It is just that one bridge and it is subsiding!!!!
