morgan 30 tiller measurements req'd

Hi all,
Had our tiller replaced along with rudder, et al after some rock issues, and the wrong tiller was installed. The new one is lower than the original, I have to remove the cockpit cushions to use the auto tiller. My arm also gets sore from reaching longer.

Does anyone have the measurements for the correct tiller (I no longer have the old one, it was destroyed).

Thanks for any help!!

Joe

I have a 1971 Morgan 30 and would be happy to measure the tiller and send that information to you. I will probably be down at the boat in the next day or two, so will be in touch soon.

If you have already got the information you need, just let me know!

Morgan 30 tiller measurements

Joe

Tiller measurements as follows.

Total length (measured along the curves): 49 3/8"
Height at aft end: 6"
Height at for'ard end: 17 3/8"

Heights are from the cockpit sole with the tiller in its lowest position.

I hope this helps. Let me know if there is anything else you need.

Stuart
