My 1979 415's Coast Guard Document says 18 tons

My 1973 413's Coast Guard Document says 25 tons

My 1984 (83) 41 Morgan 416 Coast Guard & survey report says 29 ton. I am sure this is incorrect. 29,000 lbs is much closer.

Be careful to note that the marine tonnage is a capacity and not mass. Though I listed my documentation as 25 tons, the displacment (mass) of my Morgan OI 41 is approximately 13 tons. Take care and joy, Aythya crew

Thank you Captain Force. I think I recall you wrote a thread reference OI deck leaks along the car rail (for lack of a better discription) or joint. I have one and not quite sure how to repair.

Riverwolf, We may have a very different rail configuration. My '73 OI has the hull-deck joint at the rub rail and a teak toe rail that I removed many years ago. It you have the metal toe rail; then, I suspect that your hull-deck joint is at that rail. I believe the change to the design like yours is best, but I don't have any direct experience with solving leaks with that plan. Good luck, Take care and joy, Aythya crew
