Aft Stbd Port Light Leaking

I have an 1987 31ft Newport and the aft stbd port light leaked causing delamination of the inside fiberglass. I removed the port light and found this has been going on for some time before I got the boat. A drip started when I think the water that got in and froze and cracked a thumb nail size of the fiberglass and there is a leak. My questions are, 1. what is the best way to fix the delamination? 2. what is the best way to dry out the wet wood? 3. what is the best way to clean the putty glue used to seal the old port in it's place. Any help is much appreciated.
