Which model do I own

I am the proud owner of a 1985 Newport 27 (CPY00862A585). I've never been able to figure out the particular model of this boat. I've done some searches and have found a wide array of different models: the Gulf, MK 1, MK 2S, MK 3 Short Rig, Mk 3 Std. Rig, Std rig, Tall rig, 27-3, 27-3 SD, 27ET, 27S, 27S TM, 27S-2 766+, 27S-2 SD, 27S-2 SM and the 27S-2 SM SD. Is there a way to tell which one I have from the hull number?

Many Thanks!

Chris
