Liveaboard the Newport 33?

I really like these boats and think I could live on one. If anyone has lived on one for an extended time, I'd like to know what you think. The good, the bad and the ugly. They seem priced within my budget. I'll most likely be a weekend sailor up in the Puget and occasionally take off for a week or so into SE Alaska or just around the sound.

I just bought an N33. My son is living on it while going to UW. She's tied up on Lake Union. He's in heaven. Only down side so far - the holding tank is only 6 gallons and the closest pump-out is across the lake.

A week from Puget Sound to Alaska? Has the Newport 33 been converted to a speedboat?
