30MKIII folding prop

Has anyone installed a martec or other folding prop on their N30 with the Universal M25 diesel?
Also has anyone installed a backstay adjuster on their N30?

30MKIII folding prop

Back when I bought my N33PH I re-installed a 2 blade Maxi-prop in place of a 3 bladed fixed prop that a previous owner and swapped out. I love the Maxi-prop. I followed the manual setting the pitch for something like 11.5 pitch if I remember (I'd have to look at my notes from spring 2007). I run my M35 up to 2200 rpm and motor along at 5.5 to 6kts. If I pushed it to 2500 rpm I could do 6.5 kts but why?

The difference in RPM is only ~300; is your gearbox 1:1 or 2:1? From no engagement (stopped) to 2200 you are going ~5.5-6; with 300 more RPM at 1:1 it should only make a ~10% difference in prop thrust or boat speed I would think. That's pretty close to 1/2 kt in speed.
