Question Identify My Boat by Serial Number

Can anyone help me identify my Newport 30 by the serial number, my paperwork list the sn as 537099. Also it states the boat is a 1970 model year.
I see the 70 in the sn but I have no ideal if it is a mark I II or III. Thanks in advance.

I believe a 1970 build would be a Mk1. Go to the Yahoo list for newports. Here are some links.

You might find this interesting also, it's my site on my old N30
