Port Galley Needs Adjusted
Evidently, anyone who has a Newport 28 with the galley on the PORT side(which seems to be the "wrong" side for Newports) has noticed that the icebox is every bit near-impossible to work with.
The galley just seems all wrong on the PORT side of this boat.
The alcohol stove's second burner is virtually under the cockpit bulkhead and the top opening for the icebox is further back yet . . . and as far to port as it can go to boot.
SO, I'm contemplating changing the whole thing.
BEFORE I get into this stuff(right now I'm contemplating this on a boat over 100 miles away near frozen Lake Erie), I'd like to know if anyone else has attempted this and give me some insight on what appears to be a trash bin(?), that extends from under the cockpit setee all the way down to the little(kinda trashy), door near the stove?
Any ideas or thoughts on this would be helpful.
