Twoowls Bought the Indigo. It seems to work well. At least it will reverse and stop the boat, a Morgan 30. Will let you know more after I have done a few sea trials.

razwrld Cathy, just purchased a 1971 Morgan 30,and the owner had the entire to read it,but the Marina has it,as I have some problems with the diesel, and it has a entire section on the motor.
If you let me know what section you may want,I may be able to fax it to you,or something like that.
I do not have to worry about the centerbaord,as the previous owner had it removed and glassed in the opening, why,he said the resovoir we sail in is too shallow to use it,I said ,why not just keep it up in the keel,no answer...oh well.If she does not point good,I'll just open it back up and put another board in.Let me know if I can help...Ray in Miss.

Morgan 30 Information

Cathy, I have a website that might be helpfull with centerboard info. also Dave Doolin from Jacksonville, FL. had a Morgan 30, "Angel's Wing" and he has posted on the following site. He has indicated in the past that he has manuals for the M30. You might try posting there to see if he sees it.

1971 Morgan 30 info

Hello Fellow Morgan Owners,

I'm looking for any diagrams, or printed info on my recently purchased 1971 Morgan 30. I would be happy to pay for a copy of an owners manual or the like.

Also, if anyone has lost their centerboard, or has retrofitted a lost centerboard, I'd like to talk to you. I've read many stories about lost centerboards and I'm preparing to check mine out to prevent any loss.

Thanks for reading!
