Re: San Francisco Pier 39 Sublease

Pier 39 North Basin is quite "surgie", has lots of tour boat traffic and the sea lions are noisy and can be a problem on the docks. The South Basin is considerably nicer. The problem with Treasure Island/ Clipper Cove is the entrance is silting in. My boat draws 6’ and I try to hit it on a rising (high) tide. All of the transient slips at Pier 39 are located in the North Basin. There is not much happening at Treasure Island so most people anchor out when visiting. The transient slips there are located next to the causeway road.

San Francisco Pier 39 Sublease

Hello - I am looking for any feedback on specific slip locations within Pier 39 in San Francisco. We are looking to move our boat to either Pier 39 or Treasure Island. We are aware of the issues with the surge and sea lions and are hoping to get some first hand advice on where within the harbor is best for overnight stays. We need to be in a 45'+slip. Thanks so much for any help!
