Re: Inland lake to winter and sail on

There are several popular lakes in the DFW metro area. Lake Ray Hubbard is probably the best for pure sailing. Texas has pretty good weather throughout the fall and winter.

Inland lake to winter and sail on

Good morning/Afternoon. Its almost the middle of April and I just came in from snow-blowing a foot of snow from my driveway. Last year my boat, Ranger 26 was in the driveway with the bottom paint already on. My wife and I have decided that in a few years, we would LOVE to find a place somewhere in the Southern US to buy to winter at, and where we can sail.

Can someone please give me some suggestions? I would like a larger lake and would probably buy another boat, (Keel boat, 26-28 ft).

any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Please send some warm weather to the UP Mi
