"Advisories, Watches and Warnings Issued for Mariners" by Hayden Frank

Staying safe and making smart decisions on the waters is essential, especially when it comes to weather. On April 25th, join Hayden Frank from NOAA as he explains the various marine products that are issued by the National Weather Service in Taunton. He will explain the types of advisories, watches and warnings that are issued for mariners. Several links will be shown as to where mariners can find particular information. The heart of the talk will discuss how mariners can use our products to stay safe and make smart decisions on the waters.

Hayden always had a love for meteorology from a very young age. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1998 with a Bachelorís Degree in Meteorology. Today Hayden is a senior meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Taunton, MA. He is the Doppler Radar, Fire Weather Focal Point and Outreach Team Leader at the office. He also works on various other programs, including many event reviews for significant weather events.
