Re: crew needed florida to bahamas

Hi,

I saw your post about sail to Abacos. I'm doing research on getting my own sailboat and have been crewing to gain blue water and cruising experience so I can better understand what I want in a boat.
Last month I crewed Miami to Charleston. I am intermediate sailor and I have all the necessary equipment. I am healthy, don't smoke, drink socially. I own a business which gives me flexible schedule. I would like to meet and go over the plan a week before departure if possible.

Let me know if you have any questions for me and when can we meet.

Re: crew needed florida to bahamas

My buddy and I recently graduated from Penn State and are looking for a ship to work on for the summer, or at least a few weeks. We are both in great shape and are responsible and hard workersj. I am 6'3" and 175 lbs; my buddy is 6'1" and 180 lbs. We are looking to volunteer on a boat, not for a paid position. Both of us are quick learners who will be a huge asset on your boat. If you are interested in speaking with us about a possible opportunity please let us know!

crew needed florida to bahamas

i'm looking for one crew to help me take my 37' cutter from west palm beach florida to the abacos. my regular crew will not be able to make the time slot this year and will be flying over to meet me there.

the purpose of the trip is to compete in or observe the annual 'regatta time in abaco' race week. the race is held the first week in july, but i would like to leave early june, although that is somewhat flexible. expect about a week of your time. you can remain on board for a few weeks after we arrive. i will be remaining in the abacos for a few months past the race. i will probably be able to get you a ride back to florida on one of the race boats, or you may have to arrange and pay for your own flight back to the mainland on one of the airlines that services the abacos.

i will provide food and drink while you are aboard. shoreside amenities are your responsibility. you will need a valid united states passport.

if you are a female, you will be provided with your own cabin.

you can contact me at hsamembership at hotmail
