Thank you. Hard to miss a photo in this setting.

We were two boat owners for about three weeks. Sold Cirrus far under what she was worth but offset by cost of having two thru the winter here. She sold to a first time owner who is a bit over her head but broker helping her get crew, etc to get her over the initial learning curve.

This week was our first time out of the harbor with her. We are very, very happy with the boat.

Due to a hand injury we motored instead of sailing, our return was straight into 25 knots and 3-4 footers. The ride on the PSC is so much better than our former boat. Those conditions would have meant pounding our way home, in the PSC the motion is much gentler with no pounding.

Now to sail her!!

No sweat.

Here's a pic of Elnora (but you'll notice I haven't gotten the name changed on the boat yet):

And here's a few more.

Catalina!?! Cirrus is an Omega 36, Swedish built.

The only pics I have of the PSC are of it sitting in the slip since we haven't had her out of the harbor yet. That is going to change this weekend (finally). I'm planning to get some shots of her in more picturesque locales.

Sailak: where are the pictures of you PSC? All I see on the link are pictures of a Catalina.

Re: PSC 37 running backstays...

Got the running backstays up last week. Amsteel Blue for the standing part, 4:1 reduction with cam-cleated fiddle block. Now to go sailing and try them out!!

Re: PSC 37 running backstays...

I think you'll be happy with the set up you have purchased -- simple, and easy to leave set up on either side while tacking to windward. As others have suggested, we use them only in heavy weather to avoid any mast pumping. I set them with a good pull or two and am done with them for the trip.
