Update on Canada's new sewer discharge laws

Some time back there was some chatter about Canada's intention of making their waters no discharge zones. It's my recollection that they were going to require a logbook of sorts that tracked inputs and outputs to the holding tank. The main issue was that there really aren't any pumpout facilities to speak of, at least around Desolation Sound, the main cruising area. I think FASTER lives just north of me on the salt chuck. Any new news on what's going on up there?
