Re: Beneteau First 29 - Salon Table

Bristol Marine Consignment has a salon table from an Oceanis 300 on Ebay right now. They list dimensions in the ad. Nice table, I have one, if it fits, it's a steal.

afrinus Hi

I have an F26, which after meeting up with something solid underwater ended up with a broken table when my son used it to stop his headlong rush down the entranceway. I ended up building a new table using the broken pieces as template.

Suggest you ask on the Beneteau forum for help with measurements and photos and and then make your own.
Really was not difficult

Re: Beneteau First 29 - Salon Table

At this point in time you're unlikely to find a 'new' replacement. Close to 30 years later I doubt Beneteau has any parts/stock left.

There's a possibility that you might find one at one of the various 'sailboat wreckers' who part out storm damaged boats and insurance writeoffs. Minneys in California for one, thre's also one in Blaine/Bellingham WA and there surely must be several on the East Coast and the Gulf area.

Failing that, it's a DIY project. Look at photos on sites like Yachtworld.com and others to get an idea of the shape and setup, buy some nice veneered plywood, hardware and give it a go.

Beneteau First 29 - Salon Table

I'm the owner of a new to me 1985 First 29. Does anyone know where I may be able to purchase the drop leaf salon table? The PO removed it and no longer has it.

Thanks!
