Giulietta I have visited Morro Bay once..I find California scenery looks a lot like Portugal, maybe a little colder....weird people though....they call Pizza a "pie"!! But good people

bestfriend That "man" feeds me everyday and scratches my belly! And yes, another misconception. Juan Cabrillo was a Spanish explorer that discovered San Diego Bay and up to Monterey, but never made it to the San Francisco Bay. Interesting that he is held in such high regard here, with a monument and all.

That my friend, is the difference...we're not claiming anything.....unlike all of the others.....

He spoke Portuguese and wrote ancient Portuguese, (as can be read in his brother's house inscriptions, in the Dominican Republic, I've seen them!!!!) not Spanish, which was very similar to Andaluzian dialect (even the gypsies there, today, still talk that dialect and you could swear its portuguese)....

even that fake "Juan Carlos, Spanish King sponsored" crappy program on the Discovery Channel about Colombo, (claiming to be made by independent investigators, and one of them had a polo shirt with the logo of the Spanish company dealing with the bones, and the other had a t shirt with the logo of the municipality chamber!!!!!) as I was saying even in that program they admited he wrote Portuguese, with Spanish nuances....now, remember, he was highly educated, not a shoe maker from Italy for sure...

The man was born in Cuba, his name was Salvador, Domingos was his father...aren't those weird coincidences??

by the way the Italian name for Piggeon (Colombo) in Italian is Colombina, (femenin), so either he was a girl a dreg queen....or not Italian....

How convenient his DNA didn't work in the discovery show....... where are the alternatives DNA tests they said they would do to his brother??? His bones are intact....

Ahh, on more thing I was leaving behind, (forgot it sorry)...do you know that there is physical registry and written logs confirming the arrival of a certain Mr. Zarco in Lisboa Port, his landing dates (4 of them) allways 20 to 25 days before each documented arrival of "Colombo" in Sevilla??? Yes, they are in the book.

(By the way you spelled it right Portuguese is both plural and singular)

I don't think so...all the names there are Spanish. Cabrillo is a Spanish name.

Hey Bestfriend, who's is that man chewing your bone in the avatar???
