badsanta I would guess that when you sell or give away a boat, you should make sure the ownership name changes, so it wont come back to you as the last registered user. I gave away a car to a charity and months later received an $800 bill for towing and storage for illegally parking. I was able to prove I had given it away. They would not take my word for it. Good thing I still had a recept. I would think they would do the same for your old boat if they had to remove it.

sailsail Tons of boats like that. Some of the people who live on them are one step above a bum.

Sixpoint From that article: Coastal legislators last week proposed a law that would penalize boat owners who abandon their vessels.

Wonder how much of "Coastal" taxpayers' money it took to come up with that ingenious solution?
