Re: T3500 Shoal vs. Fin

I'd like to pop this question to the top because I am looking at some 3500's now. Have sailed 1985 Pearson 34 with fin keel for 11 seasons, so I know fins, at least a little bit.
Shoal (beavertail not CB) has much better stability numbers, but maybe that's just numbers.

T3500 Shoal vs. Fin

Hi all-
Any thoughts on performance characteristics of the shoal vs. fin version of the Tartan 3500? How much am I giving up with the shoal keel?

Thanks in advance!
