It's funny how that photo has been kicked around just about every boating forum on the net. People have been trying to prove it's a photoshop job, but it is for real. It was built by a guy who "once" made fast, custom boats for drug smugglers. Until he was caught, that is.
Those 250's are huge motors, almost 600 lbs a piece ( that's almost 5000 lbs ) and compared to the vessle next to it, the porportions just don't look right
You're right. The windows on the tender look a bit small...comparing to the windows on the boat to the right, as does the entire deckhouse... that might explain why the engines look so small.... because they and the deck house were scaled down to fit. You'd have to be three feet tall to fit in that deckhouse.
Small windows so its harder to shoot the driver.
looks to me like you step down to go in the house.
I thought there was a pic of that boat running on here somewhere.
Maybe I saw it some place else.
Id like to see the steering set up for it.
thats alot of little primer bulbs to pump up.
Matt
Actually, found that picture at snopes.com, a site that claims to expose internet myths. They claim this is an actual picture of a boat used by drug smugglers accross the english channel. The boat cost $680,000 bucks.
