Re: Identify this boat

Well done Zedder. It looks a lot like my own Norlin designed boat, the PERRYWINKLE. Norlin was a very talented designer. You could do a lot worse.

Re: Identify this boat

I think it looks alright too. but I would rather have a lot less cockpit and much more cabin. It looks about perfect for learning to handle sails on it has winches, a mainsheet traveler, and he says it's good for racing. I went ahead and responded to the ad. It's a desperation sale, and when the time comes it goes to best offer. I would have to rely on others to tow it around though.

Re: Identify this boat

I know this does not help, but it is a nice looking little boat! so often smaller boats like that can look pudgy, but that has nice lines.

If you can, climb up and take a look at the Hull Identification Number ("HIN") that should be on the upper corner on the starboard side of the transom. With that, you will be able to identify the make and age of the boat.

It looks like a small J-boat. I may be wrong.

Identify this boat

This boat is listed in Craig's list. The guy wants 2k for it with the trailer. He calls it an Alba 25 but I can't find any such boat on the web anywhere. Does any one know what it is?
