Valiente I didn't want to buy the manual, either, but eventually, I bought the manual. You see where I'm going with this, right?

my 9.9 mercury outboard has no spark

Hey guys' my 9.9 horse mercury outboard dosn't have any spark. neither cylinder. It's a 2 stroke. a 94 year modle. I hoped Some else might shed some light on the likely cause. I would assume that it's not the coils, because there are seperate coils for each cylinder, and neither plug will spark. I'm not sure what ignition system I have, and I don't want to buy the manual. so if you know what I should check next, I would appreciate the advice.
