poltergeist Well, I really don't know about the appropriateness of Seminoe and Pathfinder as venues. When I visited those places, I was looking for rising trout, not places to sail. :-)

Wyosailer Thanks all. Poltergeist - Hadn't thought of Pathfinder and Seminoe, was thinking DeSmet, Glendo, Fremont and lakes over in Sakakawea and Oahe in the Dakotas.

Jotun I had an O'Day Daysailer. It was a fun little boat that we kept at the marina already rigged on the trailer. All we had to do it was drop it in the water and go. It was old and ugly, but it was tough and it floated. I can't complain and would recommend an O'Day.

poltergeist I learned to sail on Rhodes 19 keelboats, and also day sailed with a friend who had a Mariner (I think it was called) ... In any case, it was the cuddy cabin centerboard version of the Rhodes 19. Spent many great hours sailing off Chicago years back, and enjoyed both. Solidly built, pretty roomy cockpit (especially on the keel version), and that lovely, graceful Rhodes shear that's just so sweet to look at.

I used to live in Cheyenne. Where do you plan to sail, Seminoe and Pathfinder?

Looking to buy first boat, inland lakes (Wyoming and surrounding area). Any experience with Oday or Rhodes Trailer Sailers?
