Couple looking to crew from Southeastern U.S => Caribbean

We are a professional, self-employed, married couple in our mid-thirties interested in buying a sailboat, but would first love to crew and get a little blue water experience. We have taken a Red Cross basic sailing course and have been racing 14'' Hunters for a little over a year and sailed 24'' to 27'' boats a few times. He: Swiss born chef trained in four-star cuisine, loves to cook great (sea) food!! Fluent in German, French, and English. She: Florida native, professional mechanical engineer loves nature and wants to get out of the office! A little Spanish. We love to travel and be in the great outdoors and bring enthusiasm and a willingness to help out wherever possible. We are honest, responsible, and easygoing.

We would like to crew with a safety conscious captain during the Christmas/New Year 2002-2003 holidays and since we''re self-employed, departure and return dates are flexible. We can be gone no more than about three weeks depending on the actual dates. We''re in Central Florida and would like to leave from the Southeastern U.S. to anywhere in the Caribbean. We''re willing to pay for our travel to and from ports, food/provisions, and assist with running the sailboat (i.e. night watch, etc.).

Please email us at sailingseaslugs@hotmail.com if you would like to know more or think we can help you!

Thanks,
Marcus & Michelle
