Re: Comments Thread for Giu's Sailing Videos

Maybe I should put them in the BFS thread so they get more visibility. Heh-heh.

Re: Comments Thread for Giu's Sailing Videos

Damn I have been wondering for months what the Backstay did. i thought it was just where I attached my flag. The videos are easily found using google or anything

But the point is that this thread points to them and they aren't here. Sailnet is a confusing pain in the ass to navigate at the best of times. Goodbye sticky.

Re: Comments Thread for Giu's Sailing Videos

It is not just you, no one can see the videos via that link anymore.

Gui the member who created and posted these videos is no longer active here, but is very active at the forum known as Anything Sailing. The videos are available there(Just google it, I don't want to post a link as there has been varying thoughts here on posting links to other forums and I am not sure of the current stance).

They are good videos and I would recommend them.

*****MODS***** given the confusion about a thread about videos people can't see from here anymore posted by a guy who hasn't posted here for years is it maybe time to remove this as a sticky????

smackdaddy Honestly, I think it's great having vendors around - as long as they follow the rules.

For example, think about Craig Smith with Rocna...and many, many others. They all provide great insight that's very valuable.

So just follow the rules, support the site with your ad dollars, and throw down some good insight. Easy peasy.

eherlihy Probably should delete posts from #285 to this one. The dude that caused this firestorm deleted his. Now, this is all outta context.

[EDIT] Dude's handle is sailaboat.

Also, agree with Smack's comment below. Craig is gonna sell a Rocna 15 next month because of his contribution here.

However, we're waaay out on a tangent here. Mod's. feel free to delete...
